1st of June, 2011, Chess Competition between Universities was held at Teaching University "Rvali". First place winner between boys is - Georgian Technical University, Second Place - Ilia State University, Third Place - Agrarian University and between girls First Place - Academy of Art, Second Place - Teaching University "Rvali", Third Place - Gorgasali University. Winners were awarded with medals, certificates and cup. |

14th of May, 2011, Poetry Evening was held at the University. University students with University Associated Professor Nino Lartsuliani read their poetry. There were also represented students' Art and were performed musical compositions.

13 April, 2011, representatives of Fund "Multi-ethnic Resource Center for Development of Civil Education" visited university. The main topic was racism discrimination and fascism and the non-violence fighting methods against them. The meeting was quiet interactive and students actively were involved in discussion. |

13 April, 2011 IBSU rector Dr. S. Ercan TUNC visited Georgian Teaching University "Rvali". He looked through the university new building and acquainted with current works there.

30 March, 2011 by the initiative of student's self-government, University students met with the representatives of NGO "Georgian Youth for Europe". The topic of seminar was the possibilities of volunteer working abroad. Topic turned out very actual and provoked interest in students.
